Double Degree

Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt (Germany), Faculty of Business Administration and Matej Bel University Banska Bystrica, Faculty of Economics have agreed on a double degree master program in Economics of Tourism Businesses.

The double degree program is based upon a mutually agreed curriculum, which is defined as follows:

During the first semester, double degree students study according to the curriculum at their home university. During the second semester, double degree students move to the respective partner institution, studying the commonly specified modules. During the third semester, double degree students move back to their home university studying according to the respective curriculum. During the fourth semester, double degree students will have to write their master´s thesis.

The master´s thesis has to be supervised by a supervisor from both partner universities and has to be writen in Englich language. In the framework of the double degree program following courses (opened also for students from other specialisations) are offered:

Cultural and Urban Tourism

Destination Management

Strategies and Regional Tourism Planning

Tourism Management and Marketing
