A = EXCELLENT - outstanding performance with only minor errors

B = VERY GOOD - above the average standard but with some errors

 

C = GOOD - generally sound work with a number of notable errors

D = SATISFACTORY - fair but with significant shortcomings

E = SUFFICIENT - performance meets the minimum criteria

Fx = FAIL - some more work required before the credit can be awarded

Not attended the exam at all

C 86 – 80 % 2 good performance
D 79 – 73 % 2, 5 satisfactory performance
E 72 – 65 % 3 minimum performance
FX 64 and less % 4 failure

Credit Value Definition
Every course at Matej Bel University has its given credit value (Abb. Cr. in the Academic transcript – column no. 4). Course’s credit value is based on the course difficulty.

Weighted average calculation (Vážený študijný priemer)
Student’s study average is weighted and calculated as follows:
Weighted study average = (∑▒〖(Grade point * Credit value)〗)/(Total credits)
