Aim: After competion of the course, the student will be able to: 1. use the acquired konwledge to explore the topics and solve practical problems in connection with social policies, their models in the EU (social state, welfare state, modern social state), 2. quantify, process and analyze information on health systems, its development and creation, positives and negatives in particular EU states, mainly social protection and solving of social exclusion, 3. apply critical analysis in the evaluation of mutual relationship within the EU social policy and its segments (with emphasis on policy of education, employment, housing and quality of life), 4. evaluate long-term trends in modern social policy on the macro and micro level, 5. evaluate the implementaiton of models of social policy in the EU countries in practice, 6. create conceptual materials for the decision-making of all stakes in social policy in selected EU states on the level of management and marketing.
