Aim: After completion of the course, the student can: 1. use his/her theoretical knowledge to examine the relevant issues and to solve problems of social policy and social insurance 2. search for, process and analyze data on social policy, its creation and implementation and data on the situation and development of social insurance at home and abroad 3. apply comparative critical analysis to the evaluation of the relationships within social policy and social insurance and between them 4. evaluate long term trends of development in social policy and social insurance at home and abroad at a macro and micro level 5. assess the possibilities of exploitation of the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice 6. create conception materials for decision making at a lower and middle level of management in the bodies of public administration and social insurance.
