Provision of information

The Faculty of Economics of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (hereinafter referred to as the Faculty of Economics) was established by the Founding Charter of the Faculty of Economics of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica according to the provisions of § 4 (2) of Act No. 172/1990 Coll. on Higher Education effective from 1 July 1992. The organisational structure of the Faculty of Economics of UMB in accordance with the above-mentioned Act (in particular § 29) is defined in Annex 4.

Pursuant to Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on Free Access to Information and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts (Act on Freedom of Information), the Faculty of Economics publishes the information available to it, with the exception of the restrictive provisions of the above-mentioned Act, Act No. 52/1998 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data in Information Systems, Act No. 383/1997 Coll. and other related legal regulations as amended from time to time.

The procedure for providing information at the Faculty of Economics is governed by Directive No. 07/2012, which issues rules to ensure a uniform procedure for the application of Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information at the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica.

Information on the procedure of the Faculty of Economics in the application of the Freedom of Information Act, the text of the Act, the text of Directive No. 07/2012, the procedure and method of providing information, samples of submissions, a list of related generally binding legal regulations and the schedule of fees are freely available on the website of the Faculty of Economics.

Information on the place, time and manner of obtaining information on where to submit a request for information, proposal, suggestion, complaint or other submission are also published in the glass cabinet at the entrance to the Faculty of Economics at Tajovského Street No. 10 in Banská Bystrica.
