The conference’s theme is “Driving Global Progress Through Sustainable Innovation and Inclusive Technology”. This theme was chosen to foster collaboration across disciplines and encourage the exchange of knowledge and ideas among global academics, industry, and policymakers in addressing the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development through innovative social and technological solutions.

The main aim of the conference theme is to address relevant sustainability challenges across different regions, cultures, and economies. In addition, the chosen conference theme encourages participants to discuss actionable and innovative solutions that can be implemented to meet sustainability goals, focusing on both social and technological aspects. It also aligns with the government’s aspirations as outlined in the 12th Malaysia Plan which is themed “Prosperous, Inclusive, Sustainable Malaysian Families”. It is hoped that the discussions generated through this conference will be able to provide added value and promote inclusive, equitable, and sustainable national development in the long term, meeting the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations.
