Enrolment in the academic year 2021/2022

Enrollment in the 1st year of study of full-time and part-time doctoral students will take place on September 2, 2021 at 10.00 a.m. in meeting room 3 (dean's hall) in the building of the Faculty of Economics, MBU, Tajovského 10 in Banská Bystrica. PhD students admitted to an part-time form of study are obliged to pay tuition fees to the faculty in accordance with the Act on Higher Education Institutions. The amount of tuition is determined by the UMB guideline no. 5/2020 on tuition fees at the MBU in the academic year 2021/2022. Upon registration, doctoral students will receive a written notice of the obligation to pay tuition fees, on the basis of which they will pay tuition fees for the academic year 2021/2022 without the possibility of repayments by 30 September 2021 at the latest.

Enrollment for the 2^nd and higher year of study will take place on September 2, 2021 after 1 p.m. individually in the office of the doctoral study department, No. 40. Each doctoral student is obliged to submit the completed "Affidavit" form on the enrollment and to sign the "Enrollment Letter" (generated from AiS2 on the day of enrollment).

Doctoral students of the part-time form of study: After the annual evaluation of doctoral students for the previous academic year in accordance with the conclusions of individual training places, the officer will prepare  a written notice of the obligation to pay tuition fees for part-time study in the set amount for the following academic year. A part-time doctoral student who will be enrolled in the academic year 2021/2022 in the higher year of study in the standard length must pay the tuition fees for the academic year 2021/2022 by August 31, 2021 at the latest. Proof of payment, or a copy will be submitted by the doctoral student on the enrolment of September 2, 2021 to the Officer.

A doctoral student who will be enrolled in studies in the academic year 2021/2022 after exceeding the standard length is obliged to pay tuition fees to the faculty for external studies in the amount set by directive no. 2/2020 on tuition and fees at UMB on AR 2021/2022. The doctoral student will receive a "Notice on the determination of the obligation to pay tuition fees" on the enrollment, on the basis of which he / she will pay tuition fees by September 30, 2021.

Doctoral student after the interruption of study (part-time of study): the interrupted study period ends usually on August 31, 2021. On September 2, 2021, the doctoral student is obliged to enroll in the study and is obliged to pay tuition fees by the day of enrollment. Proof of payment will be submitted upon registration. In the event that the doctoral student does not intend to continue the study after the interruption of the study, it is necessary to deliver a written statement on the termination of the study to the faculty's office by August 31, 2021. Upon request, the Officer will send the doctoral student the necessary form to drop out of studies.

More detailed instructions will be sent to doctoral students by email at least 1 month before enrollment.
