Students with special needs

People with special needs are people whose physical or mental abilities limit their functioning in a normal environment and normal situations.

A student with special needs is considered to be a student:

  1. with sensory, physical and multiple disabilities,
  2. with chronic disease,
  3. with impaired health,
  4. with mental illness,
  5. with autism or other pervasive developmental disorders,
  6. with learning disabilities.
