The entitled applicants for doctoral study at the Faculty of Economics of Matej Bel University are also graduates of Master programmes from other colleges and universities or fields of study.
The doctoral study is organized on a full-time basis (3 years) or part-time basis/ external form (4 years). In each academic year not more 8 applicants are admitted for full-time study, depending on the number of posts for study and approximately not more 12 applicants for part-time study, depending on the capacity of the supervisors.
The full-time form of study during the standard period is financially secured by a scholarship. In the case of a full-time form of study in a study program carried out exclusively in a language other than the state language, the student pays the annual tuition fee in accordance with the UMB guideline valid for the current academic year.
